The Innovation Base is a repository of models for the Higher Education Domain. It was created by JISC in order to help people in Higher Education share the knowledge that they create in their projects and institutions. The IB includes both formal and informal models so that users can share what they have with a minimum of overhead.
Unlike an ordinary repository the IB allows you to add models through specific modeling activities, in this way it keeps track of how informal models (such as written scenarios) grow into more formal descriptions (such as UML).
